I bought this after reading several case reviews on Amazon. I wasn't sure whether it would be 1) rigid/stiff when installed on the Switch, and 2) I wasn't convinced it would be dockable. Well I can answer both of these now that I own it. Yes, when playing in handheld mode there is good rigidity and no flimsiness. I had to get rid of the JETech case because it wobbled when playing games (way too much flex while in use). Yes, the switch is dockable with the case installed. My photo shows that it even works with a dock sock installed (tight fit).I think this is a tremendous buy if your main concerns were rigidity and dockability.

    Excellent case for my Switch.

    -Makes your switch easier to hold in handheld mode.
    -Adds stability - doesn't feel like you are going to break off the joy-cons when in handheld mode.
    -Fits on the charging dock with the case on - no need to remove it.
    -Allows for the use of screen protectors (sold separately).
    -Doesn't block any ports.

    There is one lone "con", but even then, it is VERY low on the list for me personally.
    -The release button to detach the joy-cons is covered by the case. The buttons are molding into the case, but are difficult to "push" to release. I use one hand to "pinch" the release button, and the other to slide the joy-con upwards by the joystick GENTLY. This usually happens easily without any force required to detach the joy-con. DO NOT FORCE the action, or you could break it.

    I love this case, and am glad I decided on this one over any of the many others.

    Honestly, this is much higher quality than I expected. I thought the grips would be squishy, but they're not; they're slightly flexible, but not squishy.

    It's easy to snap on and off, but you should never need to, because the Switch fits perfectly in the dock while it's on. It even fits in the carrying case I have (Hestia brand) without having to remove it.

    As others have said, the buttons to release the joycons are a bit hard to press under the button covers (not sure what else to call them) on the grips. Not impossible or anything, just enough to be annoying. So I actually used an old pair of cuticle scissors and cut out the little spots on the grips that cover the release buttons. Now I have no problem with them at all.

    Overall, it's a great, inexpensive case/grip that protects the switch from scratches, makes the joycons more comfortable and sturdy in handheld mode, fits well in the dock, and should even fit inside a decently-sized carrying case.

    pick up nintendo switch this holiday, and been searching for a good switch case.
    This is one of the case I picked up to try out.

    dockable:
    It is easily dockable, only need a gentle push to fully dock.
    removing is also effortless, simply pull out and no issue at all.

    ergonomic grip:
    while it is small for my hand, it is what keep me coming back to this case compare to other case without ergonomic design.

    remove joy-con without remove case:
    It does allow taking out joy-con without removing the whole case, but it's tricky compare to not having case on.
    I found it easier to just press the release button and push joy stick at same time to remove the joy-con.
    not difficult, just tricky.

    TPC grip feels good, I personally dont like the touch feeling of the PC part for the case. (just a personal preference)

    Only dislike is that it's a little bit hard to take the joy cons out cause you have to press firmly on the eject button on the back. I have to use 2 hands to take each joy con out but I'm hoping with some ware that it'll be easier.

    Other than that, good product. Not a deal breaker.

    Very comfy (I have smallish hands) on the back of the handles of the joycons, great protection for the bottom corners and backside of the console and it is dockable! I'm going to get a wireless controller to play while docked so I don't have to take the joycons off every time! It is one whole case, you have to remove the case to take the joycons off. Great purchase

    I got this case to have a nice hand grip as I normally play with xbox/playstation controllers and am not fond of how flat the switch is on its own. It greatly improved how comfortable it was for me to hold my switch, it fits in my Orzly carrying case very nicely, and it docks with ease. Definitely would recommend to people who are looking for that controller-like grip

    Good build quality. The grip is semi soft, very nice feeling in your hand. and able to take out the joycons without remove the shell is very nice. fits really well on the switch. One thing I would say I don't particularly enjoy is the remove of the joycon button. It gets covered by the soft rubber cover which is really hard to press and hard to feel if its pressed or not.. dont know why they didn't just left it open it
