    I never thought I would by another teflon nonstick pan again…until I found this. It was an incredible promo price (just under 20.00), and I could not resist. What I liked about this just from the description was that it came with a vented lid and it had a helper handle. The incredible lightweight maneuverability of the pan is a feature you can appreciate only when you use it IRL. Buy it just for that reason alone!

    What you’ll discover is a pan that heats evenly and has a nice large cooking surface where you can really saute foods without stewing (due to a too small pan). Mushrooms are my acid test of a saute pan. If I can saute them without alot of water releasing, then I know the pan can maintain its temperature…(of course, the mushrooms have to be fresh, firm and not spongy old).

    TFal also has a little helper feature that indicates when the pan is at proper temp—the center emblem goes from dotted edges to solid edges. It really works as a helper!

    Also, the tempered glass lid has a vent (can see contents better than non vented lid) and you can turn it upside down on the countertop because the top handle has a flat surface.

    Best part of this pan is ease of cleanup. Literally, just rinse with warm water after cooldown. Oh, also, make sure to lightly season it before first use, and occasionally thereafter. (Yes, even teflon pans need to be gently seasoned a little. When I say gently, I mean, on stovetop only, and not in a screaming hot oven as would be for a carbon steel pan. Just lightly coat pan with oil, heat to almost smoking point, cool, then wipe clean w paper towels.)

    This pan was a pleasant surprise! I use it almost every day now, as my other cookware sits idle in the cabinet. If your left wrist is in pain from lifting heavy cooking pans, try this. Your wrist will love it!

    Really annoyed with myself for ignoring all of the other reviews stating that the pan is dented and the lid doesn't fit.... I thought, "surely that is a fluke!" So, I ordered one because I loved the red color - DENTED. I ordered a replacement, hoping that I just was unlucky, but no, the 2nd one arrived today - DENTED!! So mad that I didn't pay attention to the reviews and let the red color sway my judgement. Of course, both are going back, and I'm going to try again with a different model - still Tfal - we shall see! Order at your own risk! Clearly a manufacturing error or maybe shipping damage? Either way, amazon (and tfal) needs to stop selling these or at least inspect them before letting them go out. Thank goodness for free, easy returns!
